The problem

The cannabis industry is overwhelmingly white-facing. To combat the deficiency of BIPOC presence, we set out to create a new sector — one that didn't exist — for artists who aren't mainstream.

The thesis

Independent artists typically lack the infrastructure and connections required for professional music business engagement. The program creates a structured pathway: monetize the work, celebrate the creators, and move product in the process.

A proof-of-concept — RYTHM Pride 2021 — was greenlit and executed. The deck below is the document that got it there.
